Treat yourself with our refreshing Meringata alla fragola! We realise it by combining the fior di latte gelato with the strawberry pulp and, before serving it, we add the meringues. The secret of this flavor is the balance of the main ingredients: the slight acidity of the fruit must be in perfect balance with the sweetness of the cream.
In order to have fresh milk daily, we chose to use high-quality milk from cows raised in Piedmont. The evaluations of the stalls and milking barn are even more rigorous: this allows us to gently pasteurize the milk, without altering its organoleptic properties, while maintaining its finest qualities.
There are many varieties, but it is rare to find strawberries of excellent quality, because too often they are picked still unripe to allow for the logistics involved in bringing them to the table. Exasperated by the difficulties in finding a product that meets our demands, we planted on the farm Mura Mura® a carefully-selected group of varieties from which to choose the one with the best characteristics for making GROM sorbets. We are nurturing and sampling the cultivars Annabelle, Syria, Mara des Bois, Clery, Dely, Joly, Asia, Cristina, aromatic Tortona and Murano.
Prepared according to our recipe by the historic Monregalese pastry chef Egidio Michelis and added at the moment, so that they do not lose their friability. The master touch: Bourbon vanilla seeds.
